Video of the Day

I have absolutely no desire at all to see this film but this video of the scoring session is very nice...

Love this video. Actally I liked superbad the film. For what it is. What is fascinating is that it is more cultural appropriation of the 1970s, in combination with a contemporary setting. In a sense, the film takes place anachronistically, simultaneously in 2007 and in the early funkified 1970s. Like "A Clockwork Orange" the film invents a lot of its own slang, inspired by the 70s. Also the imagery and artwork and music. It's very Napoleon Dynamite in that respect. I don't think the film is very original, but that doesn't get in the way of it being enjoyable. These musicians really help pull it off. I have already seen McLovin Tshirts for sale at Hot Topic... - Jack
